Yes, as long as you have decent high speed internet you can use the GX2 overseas. But as far as IP restriction go, it depends on what add-ons you are using, for example if you want to watch MLB. TV you may be restricted by IP region, many of the add-ons however do not have any such restriction.

Im honestly not interested in linux on the MX2. The old midnight is plenty fast for it, not sure what new interesting feats could be accomplished by putting linux xbmc on it other than running a little faster. Since the mx2 seems to run xbmc perfectly fine for me in android why limit to only xbmc through linux?
I understand the logic in the past — the m3 processor isnt very fast, optimize with linux because android is bloated. It is no use for you to come here to try and down a great product because what your reselling is cheap and has no development. The best would be to check with Matricom. I bought mine also through amazon and it tanked on me. It stopped working after 8 days. At first, it froze. Then it stopped rebooting.
All I see is some alien green looking logo. So far a lot of difficulties when connecting the USB camera sometimes only video and no audio or the other way around. Any solution for this.
